Fire and Water Feature FAQ’S
What types of fire features are available to me?
Typically the 3 types of fire feature are natural gas, propane, or natural wood burning. Natural gas is the most convenient for use while wood burning is the most cost effective to install.
How does a pondless waterfall work?
A pondless waterfall system is a recirculating, closed system that does not require an external water source. We use pond liners to hold the water inside an underground water reservoir. A pump inside this reservoir sends water to the top of the waterfall and gravity brings it back down to the water basin at the bottom of the waterfall system.
Are pondless waterfalls a lot of maintenance?
Pondless waterfalls require regular inspection to prevent the buildup of debris, such as leaves or pine needles. Keeping the waterfall clear of debris ensures it maintains its aesthetic appeal. Many clients also enjoy allowing the rocks to age naturally and grow moss, as it enhances the waterfall's organic, rustic look over time.
